COVID-19

As uncertainty around COVID-19 increases, it is important that we all take preventative measures to protect ourselves and those around us.  Below are a few pointers on how we can do this.

Prevention – how to protect yourself and others

  • When entering the Church, please sanitise your hands with the sanitiser provided at the front door.
  • The offering will be taken as you enter the Church at the beginning of the Service
  • Communion stations will be set up rather than kneeling at the altar and no common cup.(small cups will be provided)
  • Try to keep 1-2 meter distance with people where possible.
  • Avoid physical contact-eg. Shaking hands, hugging etc.
  • Do NOT attend Church if you are feeling unwell.
  • Cough or sneeze into your elbow or by covering your mouth and nose with tissues.
  • Put used tissues in the bin or a bag immediately.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water often (for at least 20 seconds).
  • Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects, such as doorknobs.
